Monday-Thursday: 5:00AM-3:00PM (1st Shift)
Summary: Responsible for supplying all production work centers required information, materials and fixtures needed to perform value added activities by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Kits strategically job materials and tools needed for production activities throughout the value stream.*
2. Processes incoming raw materials by unloading trucks, performs required quality checks, properly stores/racks materials, completes paperwork, ensures materials are properly identified and transacts material into ERP system.*
3. Monitors and tracks inventory for incoming and outgoing WIP and purchased components in kitting cells.*
4. Creates and assists in the development of effective visual or electronic material flow, identification and storage systems.*
5. Monitors and educates production team to process and product identification systems.*
6. Assists in the development and defining of process control plans relative to part and fixture presentation to ensure efficient part processing and utilization of individual and machine time.*
7. Monitors proper separation, handling and disposal of all scrap materials.*
8. Performs required daily forklift preventive maintenance.*
9. Supports production coordinators and supervisor to execute production plans.*
10. Supports company goals and objectives.
11. Maintains a highly organized and clean work area.
12. Complies with required safety rules and regulations and uses personal protective equipment.
13. Contributes to any team with which you are working to ensure consistent product and cooperative communication.
14. Assists with overall shop cleanliness and reorganization.
